Annie Claflin (American, b. 1978) is a lens-based artist living in San Diego, California. Fusing her observations and imaginings, Claflin engages imagery, handwritten text, collage and familiar objects to convey the intricacies of her relentless search for sanctuary amidst psychological unrest. In 2023, Claflin was included in the Critical Mass Top 200 and was a finalist in the Royal Photographic Society’s International Photographic Exhibition 165.
